We have arrived!!!

Well, we have finally made it to Guatemala. It was a great trip that went very smoothly and there is so much to praise God for. The day before we left we were still a few hundred dollars short of our goal. The day of our departure we received a donation that put us over our goal. Praise God!! Thank you so much to all of you that have financially supported us and prayed for us.

We didn't have any troubles with our flight and bags. It all went very smoothly. We also had a 3 hour drive in vans from Guatemala City to Panajachel. It was very windy and an experience in itself. Thank you Dramamine.

When we arrived we met the RHI team. It was awesome to meet them all, introduce ourselves, and see the awesome place we will be staying in. We also brought lots of gifts for the RHI team. Among them were two trays of Chick-fil-a sandwiches. They were so excited that some of them even cried. It is amazing the things that we in the States take for granted.

After this we all went for a walk around the town. We saw the nationals and went to the beautiful lake. It is surrounded by 3 volcanoes. It was a beautiful day and so neat to see how the people live here.

We are two hours behind in the time here so we all plan on getting a lot of sleep this evening and waking up to a wonderful Sunday of fellowship with the RHI team. Happy Father's Day!! Thanks to our ultimate Daddy, God, for this awesome opportunity. Please continue to pray for us, our safety, and that we would bless those that we serve. Thank you.
